MCET Alumni Meet 2025: Celebrating Legacy and Togetherness

Musaliar College of Engineering & Technology proudly hosted its much-anticipated Alumni Meet 2025 on 10th May 2025, a heartwarming gathering that brought together alumni from across batches for a day of reflection, recognition, and reconnection.
The event commenced at 10:00 AM with a warm welcome speech by Prof Sharath Raj (HoD, EEE), setting the tone for a meaningful day ahead. The Presidential Address was delivered by Shri P I Habeeb Muhammed (Treasurer, MET), followed by the Inaugural Address by Shri P I Sherief Muhammed (Chairman, MET), officially marking the opening of the celebrations.
A moment of solemn remembrance was observed during the Shradhanjali, as the MCET family paid tribute to the beloved staff and alumni who are no longer with us.
In a heartfelt session titled “Our Journey”, Prof Femi Susan Babu (HoD, H&S) took attendees through the milestones and memories that have shaped MCET over the years.
A special highlight of the meet was the Alumni Thanksgiving to Staff, where heartfelt appreciation was extended to faculty and staff who have dedicated their lives to the institution.
Dr Stanley George (Director, MIM) offered words of felicitation, further reinforcing the spirit of gratitude and shared achievement.
In the segment “Fond Memories”, alumni took a nostalgic walk down memory lane, sharing stories, laughter, and the bonds that time has only strengthened.
The event concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Prof Aneesh S P (Secretary, MCET Alumni Association), followed by a joyous Get-Together Meal, bringing old friends and mentors together under one roof.
The MCET Alumni Meet 2025 was more than an event—it was a celebration of a shared journey, a tribute to dedication, and a reaffirmation of lifelong bonds that define the Musaliar spirit.
