International Women’s Day program at MCET

International Women’s Day program was conducted at MCET, Pathanamthitta on 9th March at 12:30 PM in a very enthusiastic manner. The programme was inaugurated by Smt. Dennamma Roy, President of Pathanamthitta District Panchayath, who delivered an inspiring speech on women’s energy and empowerment in society. The Principal, Dr. Priya G. Das, addressed the gathering and spoke about the strength, dedication, and positive energy of women in all fields. The Women Cell Coordinator, Prof. Renukadevi S. M, delivered the felicitation and appreciated the achievements and contributions of women in the institution.
The welcome address was delivered by Union Women Students Coordinator Nirmal, who warmly welcomed the chief guest, principal, faculty members, and students. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Meharine. Many girl students from Engineering, MBA, and MCA departments, along with faculty members and non-teaching staff, actively participated in the celebration. The event also included cultural programmes performed by girl students, which added color and joy to the Women’s Day celebration.
