On September 11, 2024, Musaliar College of Engineering & Technology, Pathanamthitta, hosted the grand inauguration ceremony for the first-year students of B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA, and MBA programs. The event took place in the Central auditorium at 10:00 AM, marking the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the freshers.
The ceremony was presided over by Shri P.I. Sherief Muhammed, Chairman of Musaliar Education Trust, and the inaugural address was delivered by Dr. Madhusoodanan Pillai, Chairman of the IEI Kollam Local Centre, who was the Chief Guest. His inspiring speech emphasized the importance of academic excellence and the role of engineering and management education in shaping the future. He also took the opportunity to address the new students and their parents, offering words of encouragement and advice for the years ahead. Additionally, the Chief Guest honored the meritorious students for their exceptional achievements.
The event began with a warm welcome speech by Dr. A S Abdul Rasheed, Principal of Musaliar College of Engineering & Technology. His words set a positive tone for the event, acknowledging the excitement and aspirations of the incoming students.
The ceremony also featured heartfelt felicitations from Dr. Shan M Assis, Vice Principal; Dr. Priya G Das, IQAC Coordinator; and Dr. Stanley George, Director of Musaliar Institute of Management, who extended their best wishes to the fresher’s and highlighted the importance of dedication and hard work in academic success.
The formal proceedings concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Sandeep K, First Year Coordinator, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, students, and parents for their participation in this memorable event.
