Launches Drone Skill Training

Musaliar College of Engineering and Technology, Pathanamthitta along with Asia Soft Labs announced the launch of its multi-phase Drone Skill Training Series at a press meet held today, 6 May 2026.

Dr. Priya G. Das, Principal, addressed the media along with Mr. Nishad S., Managing Director, Asia Soft Labs, Dr. Stanley George, Director – MBA, Prof. Sarath Raj S., HoD, EEE, and Prof. Manju R., HoD, CE.

The dignitaries highlighted the urgent need for drone training in today’s technology-driven landscape, the emerging career and entrepreneurship opportunities in the UAV sector, and the detailed schedule of workshops planned under the series.

Key programs announced:

8 May 2026 – Online Seminar: An orientation session for school teachers and college faculty members on drone technology
14 May 2026 – One-Day Workshop: Hands-on training for school students in drones at the Musaliar College campus.
Mid-June 2026 – Extended Training Program: Elaborate training for interested students covering various aspects of Drone Technology.
