Experiences

• He started his career as a lecturer in TKM College of Engineering in 1985, and was subsequently promoted as Professor. He was holding the positions of the Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering, till his retirement in 2018 May and served the department coordinator for TEQIP II programme, NAAC and NBA accreditation.
• He also had Industrial experience as Process Trainer in Qatar Petroleum, Qatar and Environmental Engineer for Saudi Arabia Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), Saudi Arabia.
• Currently he is a member of Board of Studies (Kerala University), Examiner for Kerala University, KTU and Calicut University.
• He also served as member in the Panel for Staff Recruitment board of Public Sector Company and Kerala Public Service Commission.
• He has Professional Society Membership in ISTE and IIChE(Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers).

Technical memberships

Dr. A.S. Abdul Rasheed is currently a member of Board of Studies (Kerala University), Examiner for Kerala University, KTU and Calicut University. He also served as member in the Panel for Staff Recruitment board of Public Sector Company and Kerala Public Service Commission. He has Professional Society Membership in ISTE and IIChE(Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers).There are many research publications and invited lectures to his credit. He is an approved research guide under KTU. He was Chaired international conferences and coordinated many Faculty Development Programmes and workshops for students and teachers.
