An anti ragging cell has been constituted and strict measures are taken to prevent the offence of ragging. Ragging is totally prohibited in the college, and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging whether actively or passively or being as part of conspiracy to promote ragging, is liable to be punished in accordance with UGC regulations.

  2. Redressal of issues of Sexual harassment for the Women Employee and girls Students in the College if any.
  3. To conduct gender sensitization programme for the Prevention and Prohibition of gender-based violence

Anti-Ragging Committee

Functions

  1. On receipt of the recommendation of the Anti-ragging squad or on receipt of any information concerned to the incident of ragging, Head of the Institution shall immediately determine whether a case under the penal laws could be  out and if so, either on his own or through an authorised  member of the Anti-Ragging Committee, shall proceed to file a First Information Report (FIR), within 24 hours of receipt of such information or recommendation with the police and local authorities, under the appropriate penal provisions relating to one or more of the following. Namely
  2. Abetment to ragging
  3. Criminal conspiracy to ragging
  4. Unlawful assembly and rioting while ragging
  5. Public nuisance created during ragging
  6. Violation of decency and morals through ragging
  7. Injury to body, causing casual or grievous hurt
  8. Wrongful restraint
  9. Wrongful confinement
  10. Use of criminal force
  11. Assault as well as sexual offences or unnatural offences
  12. Extortion
  13. Criminal trespassing
  14. Offences against property
  15. Criminal intimidation
  16. Attempts to commit any or all of the above-mentioned offences against the victim(s)
  17. Threat to commit any or all of the above-mentioned offences against the victim(s).
